Welcome to the warm and cosy Eagle’s Nest Cottage (A)! Located near the harbour of Svedjehamn in Björköby, 50 m from Bodback nature trail and sea, in the heart of the Kvarken Unesco World Heritage site, close to observation tower ‘Saltkaret’ and restaurant/cafe/museum ‘Salteriet’.

Enjoy the summer in our cozy cottage in a village called Norra Vallgrund located in the archipelago. In the cottage is a living room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed, cubicle for sleeping with three beds. The cottage suits best 1-4 people. Fresh drinking water can be found in canisters. Eco-dry toilet, warm outdoor shower, terass with a grill and outdoor furniture can be found next to the cottage. A traditional shower and toilet can be found in the family’s main building close to the cottage. Bikes and helmets can be borrowed. A sauna heated with wood that can be rented for 20€/use. Hens, a dog and two cats live on the property. On the property there’s also forestry and a small scaled farming.

Aija’s holiday cottages are beautifully situated on Utterö in the Vasa archipelago, 15 km from the center of Vasa.
The location of the cottages by the water and the proximity to forests and open land invite to recreation and wonderful nature experiences in a peaceful environment. Aija’s holiday cottages consist of two 37 m² cottages and one 47 m² cottage. All cottages have their own separate wood-fired sauna and a shared rowing boat.
All cottages have a large terrace, two sleeping alcoves with doors, direct electric heating, and an air heat pump for air conditioning. The main cottage has hot and cold water, an open fireplace, TV, and radio. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary amenities, including a stove with an oven, microwave, range hood, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker, and kettle, as well as a vacuum cleaner, cleaning utensils, and cleaning supplies.

Rental hut for 6+2 people. 1 room, sleeping alcove and kitchen. The separate boat shed contains a sauna and a changing room with two wooden benches that can be used as extra beds if necessary.
The hut has a colourful history, both as a hunting hideout and as a base for smugglers during the prohibition period. The hut is a good base for canoe trips as it is situated by a channel that is suitable for canoes and small watercraft.
